Caregivers Central mini-courses are each under 30 minutes and can be accessed at your own convenience and own pace. We plan to add several more courses this year so check back frequently to view new mini self-study courses.
This course provides a basic outline of what to expect while navigating the uncharted waters of uncertainty and constant change of caregiving. Having this understanding can help you manage the ups and downs more easily.
What people are saying:
Reality, compassion, friendship, community. This is what you will receive with these amazing people.

My daughter and I found ourselves reflecting back on the blended support of Laura and Imogen. As primary caregivers, we learned useful tools for finding our way through the challenges with as much “ease” as possible. Thanks very much for offering knowledge and insights into the care of our loved one.
It was with great pleasure that I attended the class “The Arc/Ark of Caregiving” presented by Imogen and Laura, of the Alexander Technique. They both knew their material very well and came from a perspective of each having gone through their own caregiving experience with someone they loved, and what they shared was educational, compassionate, and great information. My husband and I moved in with his aunt, who had Dementia (which went into Alzheimer’s), and lived with her for 4 years to help provide a safe and loving environment for her remaining years. I wish we had some of this information while we were being her caregivers, so much to learn and very stressful at times as we tried to learn how best to interact with her and what to offer her in the form of support. This class would have been very helpful and I highly recommend it.
